Andre Everett Ethier is a French Mexican professional baseball player currently signed as outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on April 10, 1982.
Ethier was originally drafted in the 2001 Amateur Draft by the Oakland Athletics, but opted to attend Arizona State University (ASU) instead. He re-entered the Amateur Draft in 2003 and again was drafted by the Oakland Athletics, this time signing with the team on July 1.
After spending three seasons in Oakland's minor league system, Ethier was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on December 13, 2005 for Milton Bradley and Antonio Perez. He made his Major League debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 2, 2006.
