DaMarcus Lamont Beasley is a professional soccer player currently signed with the Rangers Football Club in the Scottish Premier League. He was born on May 24, 1982 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Beasley signed with MLS on March 16, 1999, and was assigned to the Los Angeles Galaxy. Without playing a single game, he was traded to the Chicago Fire, where he became a standout player, accumulating 14 goals and 20 assists, while being named to the MLS Best XI for 2003.
On July 19, 2004, Beasley was traded to the PSV Eindhoven worth $2.5 million, with him sealing a 4-year contract. He had his first European experience with PSV, contributing 4 goals in 12 UEFA appearances during the 2004-05 season. In the UEFA Champions League, Beasley has more goals than any other American soccer player.
In 2006 Beasley was loaned to Manchester City.
In June 2007, the Rangers acquired him for £700,000.
