Jason Alan Kapono is a professional basketball player currently signed with the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He previously played for the Miami Heat, when they became the 2006 NBA Champions by defeating the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.

On November 25, 2007, Kapono surpassed Steve Kerr to become NBA's most accurate 3-point shooter. He moved ahead of Steve Kerr's .454 3-Point Field Goal Percentage with .456. He was also the league leader in 3-Point Field Goal Percentage in 2006 (with .514) and in 2007 (with .483).

Kapono is a two time NBA All-Star Weekend 3-Point Shootout Champion. As a Heat player, he won the 2006 3-Point Shootout Award over Gilbert Arenas, who came in second and Dirk Nowitzki, who was the defending champion. In 2007, as a Raptor, he successfully defended his title by defeating Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki and Peja Stojakovic.
