Jeff Green is a professional stock car racing driver who competes in NASCAR's Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on September 6, 1962.
The 2000 season was Green's best, when he, driving for ppc Racing, was crowned the 2000 NASCAR Busch Series champion. Green accumulated 5005 points, a victory margin record of 616 points ahead of Jason Keller's 4389 in the final standings. The record was surpassed by Kevin Harvick in 2006.
Jeff has siblings who also compete in NASCAR: Marcus Green and David Green, who was a 1994 Busch Series Champion. Jeff and David are the only brothers in NASCAR to both win NASCAR championships.
Green was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on September 6, 1962, as the youngest of three brothers: his siblings Mark and David Green would also become NASCAR drivers.
Green currently resides in Davidson, North Carolina with his wife Michelle. In 2002, he and his brother Mark founded The Green Foundation, a non-profit charity assisting people with severe injuries and life-threatening illnesses.
