Career (Pro, College, HS, Olympic, International, Contracts, Earnings)

College Career

Garçon started his college career at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, before transferring to Mount Union College in the Ohio Athletic Conference. He averaged over 60 catches, 1000 yards and 15 touchdowns every season as a Purple Raider.

Professional Career

Pierre Garçon was drafted by Colts in 2008 and he spent the entire season as a backup receiver. He worked his way through the back up competition and made the active roster in 2009. Garçon was competing with other receiver Austin Collie for the third wide receiver position for Colts, however Austin Collie won the competition, and Garçon was made the backup wide receiver. However, Garcon beat out Collie for the starting WR spot after the injury to Anthony Gonzalez who is out for up to eight weeks. Garçon will be getting more playing time under Peyton Manning.

Garçon has started off the 2009 season with 7 receptions for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns, one of which was the game winning touchdown against Miami, and the other being a fifty yard reception against the Arizona Cardinals.
