Keith Howard Brooking is a professional football player currently signed with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on October 30, 1975 in Senoia, Georgia. He graduated from East Coweta High School in Sharpsburg, Georgia and played college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

During the 1998 NFL Draft, Brooking was selected by the Falcons as the 12th overall pick. He was immediately productive, promptly becoming the foundation the Falcons would build their defense on.
