Ronny Paulino is a professional baseball player currently signed as a catcher for the Florida Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on April 21, 1981 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Paulino was signed a free agent contract on 1997, at the age of 16 by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 2005.

On December 10, 2008, he was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for Jason Jaramillo.

On March 27, 2009 Paulino was traded to the San Francisco Giants in exchange for Jack Taschner. Shortly after, he was traded yet again to the Florida Marlins in exchange for Hector Correa.
