Zachary Harris Johnson, or Zach Johnson, is an American professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour. Most notably, he won the 2007 Masters in a major upset, over Tiger Woods, Retief Goosen and Rory Sabbatini by 2 strokes.
Johnson turned professional in 1998. His first PGA Tour win came on April 4, 2004, when he won the BellSouth Classic. He also won the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge with Stewart Cink and Scott Verplank in 2006.
During the 2007 Masters, Zach Johnson completed a Cinderella run to claim his first Green Jacket and his only Major win. He made three birdies over his final six holes on Sunday to become the third Masters champion to win with a score above par, +1 (289). His opponents, Tiger Woods and Retief Goosen, finished with 291 (+3), along with Rory Sabbatini.
